Brazil Nut

Brazil Nut lives up to its regal nickname as the queen of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. Wild harvested from the Brazil Nut Tree native to the jungles of Brazil, the nut’s dense coconut-like exterior is why it is sometimes known as castanhas-do-pará, which translates to “chestnuts from Pará.” (Pará is a state in northern Brazil traversed by the lower Amazon River.)

Packed with skin-protecting antioxidant benefits, this incredibly light oil is rich in omegas 6 and 9, phospholipids, sterols, vitamin E and linoleic acid. A potent source of the mineral selenium, Brazil Nut oil assists in collagen production, provides antioxidant protection and helps firm and smooth the appearance of skin. The nut’s high concentration of phospholipids means that it absorbs easily into the skin and adds incredible shine to your hair.
