  1. What is your brand philosophy?

    We create nourishing rituals designed to reconnect you with nature’s harmonious rhythms. We believe that beauty must always be in balance with the earth. Our mission is to create clean, luxurious, high-performance natural products that are plant-based and feature USDA certified, cosmos and ecocert ingredients.   2. Are your products Clean?

    All of our formulas begin with our exclusive Jungle Complex™, a trinity that harnesses the power of potent, natural ingredients sourced directly from the Amazon. Our carefully crafted formulas are free from parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, polysorbates, petrolatum, paraffins, silicone, dimethicone, pegs, BHA, BHT, EDTA, DEA, TEA, MEA, ETA, formaldehyde, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone and artificial colorants.

  3. Are your products vegan and gluten free?

    Yes, our products are vegan and 100% vegetarian. We formulate our products with only clean, natural ingredients. We do not use any animal byproducts and our products do not contain gluten.

  4. Do you test your products on animals?

    No, we do not test on animals and we also do not use any animal byproducts in our ingredients. Costa Brazil is sustainably sourced and produced, leaping bunny certified, and a proud partner of PETA.

  5. Are your products safe?

    Yes, our products are safe for both your body and the planet, and are made with our exclusive, nutrient-rich Jungle Complex™. Our face and body care products are dermatologist tested and good for all skin types. Additionally, our line is produced through a thoughtful and transparent process that promotes restoration and preservation, and does no harm to the Earth. We are committed to improving clean beauty industry standards and are dedicated partners to Conservation International. 

  6. I have sensitive skin can I use your products?

    Our products have been dermatologist tested and approved for all skin types including sensitive skin; however, all skin reacts differently. Our products feature natural, cold pressed oils, butters, plant extracts and botanical complexes and we use natural preservatives that may include essential oils. We suggest that you always test any product on a small area first prior to use. If you experience an adverse reaction to any of or products, please discontinue use. 

  7. Can I use Costa Brazil Products while pregnant? 

    Costa Brazil products are formulated with natural, organic and ECOCERT certified ingredients and are free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, silicone, pegs, sulfates and artificial colorants. Our face and body care products have been dermatologist tested and are good for all skin types including sensitive. If you are pregnant or nursing and have concerns, please consult your physician on the use of any product and for questions related to skin allergies that may arise during pregnancy.

  8. How long will your products last?

    Our products have been formulated to have a two year shelf life and all of our skin care products have a PAO (period after opening date) printed on our packaging that indicates our recommended use-by date after opening. Please refer to the little open can icon on our boxes.

  9. What is Costa Brazil doing to protect the environment?

    Conscious sustainability is the foundation upon which Costa Brazil was built. We create clean, sustainable products that encourage and assist people to become more proactive in the fight against climate change. 

    We are always striving to improve our carbon footprint when it comes to product formulation, packaging and shipping practices. Costa Brazil works in partnership with local farmers as well as international suppliers to ensure that our ingredients are sustainably sourced. Our products are cruelty free and we use recycled and recyclable materials whenever possible. Our primary and secondary packaging can be recycled, and we have partnered with a warehouse that joins us in our sustainability efforts and uses eco-friendly mailers and packaging materials. A portion of proceeds will go to the non-profit environmental organization Conservation International.

  10. What is Conservation International?

    Conservation International (CI) is an organization that works to protect our delicate ecosystems through innovative global policies. We work closely with this organization to follow best production practices. Preserving the environment has never been more urgent, a percentage of our proceeds will be donated to CI to help protect the rainforest and raise environmental awareness.   11. What is your stance on recycled products? 

    We strive to use sustainable, recycled, and biodegradable materials whenever possible. Our boxes are made from FSC-certified paper, which has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible manner. Both our primary and secondary packaging can be recycled and we have partnered with a warehouse that joins us in our sustainability efforts and uses eco-friendly mailers and packaging materials. 

  12. Where do you ship and how long will it take to receive my online order? 

    We ship free to all 50 US states. All orders ship out of our Mount Olive, New Jersey warehouse. Delivery within the United States is FREE. Orders are processed within 48 hours of receipt and shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise noted. For shipping, please allow 2 to 4 business days based on service selected at check-out. Expedited service is available at check-out at an additional charge. 

    We do not ship to PO boxes. 

    We do ship internationally. For deliveries outside of the United States, shipping fees and timeframes will be calculated at check-out based on the delivery address provided. 

  13. Can I return products?

    Yes, you can return products within 14 days of purchase. We will only refund or exchange products purchased from this website - if you purchased Costa Brazil from another outlet, please return to the store or website where purchased.
