Where do you ship and how long will it take to receive my online order?
-We ship free to all 50 US states. All orders ship out of our Mount Olive, New Jersey warehouse. Delivery within the United States is FREE. Orders are processed within 48 hours of receipt and shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise noted. For shipping, please allow 2 to 4 business days based on service selected at check-out. Expedited service is available at check-out at an additional charge.
We do not ship to PO boxes.
We do ship internationally. For deliveries outside of the United States, shipping fees and timeframes will be calculated at check-out based on the delivery address provided.

Are your products clean?

Are your products vegan and gluten free?
-Yes, our products are vegan and 100% vegetarian. We formulate our products with only clean, natural ingredients. We do not use any animal byproducts and our products do not contain gluten.
Do you test your products on animals?
-No, we do not test on animals, and we also do not use any animal byproducts in our ingredients. Costa Brazil is sustainably sourced and produced, leaping bunny certified, and a proud partner of PETA.
Are your products safe?
-Yes, our products are safe for both your body and the planet, and are made with our exclusive, nutrient-rich Jungle Complex™. Our face and body care products are dermatologist tested and good for all skin types. Additionally, our line is produced through a thoughtful and transparent process that promotes restoration and preservation and does no harm to the Earth. We are committed to improving clean beauty industry standards and are dedicated partners to Conservation International.
I have sensitive skin can I use your products?
-Our products have been dermatologist tested and approved for all skin types including sensitive skin; however, all skin reacts differently. Our products feature natural, cold pressed oils, butters, plant extracts and botanical complexes and we use natural preservatives that may include essential oils. We suggest that you always test any product on a small area first prior to use. If you experience an adverse reaction to any of or products, please discontinue use.
Can I use Costa Brazil Products while pregnant?
-Costa Brazil products are formulated with natural, organic and ECOCERT certified ingredients and are free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, silicone, pegs, sulfates and artificial colorants. Our face and body care products have been dermatologist tested and are good for all skin types including sensitive. If you are pregnant or nursing and have concerns, please consult your physician on the use of any product and for questions related to skin allergies that may arise during pregnancy.
How long will your products last?
-Our products have been formulated to have a two year shelf life and all of our skin care products have a PAO (period after opening date) printed on our packaging that indicates our recommended use-by date after opening. Please refer to the little open can icon on our boxes.
What is your stance on recycled products?
-We strive to use sustainable, recycled, and biodegradable materials whenever possible. Our boxes are made from FSC-certified paper, which has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible manner. Both our primary and secondary packaging can be recycled and we have partnered with a warehouse that joins us in our sustainability efforts and uses eco-friendly mailers and packaging materials.

Can I return products?
Yes, you can return products within 14 days of purchase. We will only refund or exchange products purchased from this website - if you purchased Costa Brazil from another outlet, please return to the store or website where purchased. Who is the founder of Costa Brazil?
-Costa Brazil is a sustainable beauty line created by Francisco Costa and built on the simple belief that the spirit of beauty is inseparable from the health of the earth.
The importance of protecting the environment is deeply ingrained in Costa, who was born and raised in Brazil. Throughout his expansive career in fashion, he continually proved that beautiful design can be created in a smart, sustainable way.

What is Costa Brazil doing to protect the environment?
Conscious sustainability is the foundation upon which Costa Brazil was built. We create clean, sustainable products that encourage and assist people to become more proactive in the fight against climate change.
We are always striving to improve our carbon footprint when it comes to product formulation, packaging and shipping practices. Costa Brazil works in partnership with local farmers as well as international suppliers to ensure that our ingredients are sustainably sourced. Our products are cruelty free and we use recycled and recyclable materials whenever possible. Our primary and secondary packaging can be recycled, and we have partnered with a warehouse that joins us in our sustainability efforts and uses eco-friendly mailers and packaging materials. What kind of partnership with the Conservation International do you have?
-Costa Brazil is a committed partner to Conservation International, working closely with the organization to follow best production practices. Conservation International helps us to identify and utilize existing farm lands and offer empowering alternative opportunities to comunidades ribeirinhas (river-side agricultural communities) previously burdened with growing conflict crops. It isn’t enough to simply benefit from the earth’s nourishing natural ingredients. Costa Brazil has a deep responsibility to positively impact the environment and strives to employ sustainable strategies in all aspects, where possible from procurement to production to packaging.
You helped us raise $70,000+ for Amazon Forever
Thanks to your support, 100% of the profits from the Costa Brazil X Pangaia collaboration were donated to Amazon Forever, a campaign led by Conservation International and Brazil Foundation that supports indigenous communities in the Amazon Rainforest affected by COVID-19. In addition, we donated profits from our September Body Cream sales and the Costa Brazil community made direct contributions to Amazon Forever.
In February 2020, we introduced our Creative Coalition, inviting our favorite artists to create work, accompanied by donations to Conservation International from Costa Brazil. Our first #givelove campaign with photographer David Croland will help protect 80 acres, or roughly 20,000 trees, in places where Conservation International works.
Do you plan to partner with anyone else?
Yes! We’ve worked with Beauty United, Pangaia and started our own Creative Coalition.
With your support, we were able to donate 2,000 Body Creams to COVID-19 patients and health care professionals in NYC with help from Beauty United.

How does Subscription work?

Select your new subscription item and confirm your order details before completing the swap.
