When burned intermittently, Breu releases a complex, woodsy aroma of rich earth and crushed leaves that helps to purify and reinstate harmony to a room. How to use

Step 1: Burn Breu on the provided ceramic tray or any heat-resistant surface. Breu is a resin that you can burn in the same way as frankincense, copal, or myrrh. It may be burned with charcoal, in an incense burner, or a brazier.

Step 2: Hold a flame to a small piece of Breu resin, approximately an inch in size, to ignite.

Step 3: Allow it to burn for 30-60 seconds. It does not remain lit like a candle or incense. It offers a more brief ritual, like burning sage. The resin should emit a smouldering, fragrant smoke.

Step 4: Gently extinguish the flame by blowing or fanning. Please allow the resin stones to cool down and dry completely before handling.

WARNING: Burn within sight and do not leave a burning breu unattended. Keep away from combustibles. Burn only on stable heat resistant surfaces and do not burn for more than 2 hours at a time. Donot move or touch breu resin while burning. Use caution when touching stones after they cooldown. Container may conduct heat while breu resin is burning wait until stones have cooleddown, handle with care. Do not ingest stores. KEEP OUT OF REACH FROM CHILDREN.

Breu - anytime

Love the smell of Resina de breu before, during and after it is burned. It has become a ritual of my day to clear the mind and enjoy the soothing smell.

Poor, expensive product

Lit and allowed to burn 45 seconds. Blew it out. Smoked for a few seconds. Then nothing. No scent and did not continue to smoke.

The worst

This is the absolute worst! I lit this and it doesn’t stay lit to give off any odor. If it does stay lit it destroys your entire house with ash. This is not like sage or incense - this resin does not burn properly to be usable. Please save your money and your time that you will spend cleaning and do not buy this. If you receive - place immediately in the bin!

Dissatisfied

When it burns it emits black smoke with very little aroma. This product performs inadequately compared to other resin incense. Super bummed I spent that much money on it. I feel scammed.

Our Breu Resin is raw and 100% natural. Due to this, each piece is unique in how it burns and the amount of fragrance it emits. Some resins will emit white smoke, some will emit a black smoke, some stones will remain lit longer than others. Our customer care team will reach out to you via email to further assist.

No scent

The presentation is lovely however it doesn't emit any scent and burns but does not smolder I am disappointed in this product 😔

Completely useless

This product doesn’t perform as described at all. As other reviewers have commented, the resin doesn’t smolder but produces thick black smoke that sends ash flying all over the room. Once extinguished, a tiny plume of fragrant white smoke rises for less than a second and doesn’t leave any kind of lingering smell in the room. The company suggests that “each Breu Resin is unique in how it burns,” but I’ve tried every piece of resin in the packet I received and they all produced odorless black smoke. I wouldn’t call this product “mood enhancing” or “spirit lifting” at all. I feel duped and I wish I’d done my due diligence and read some reviews before purchasing this expensive but useless product.

Be warned!

I love natural scents and use palo Santo all of the time, but this product is HORRIBLE. No scent at all, and it got ashes EVERYWHERE. Ruined several pieces of white furnishings.
